OPPO launches 5G Spark Program and fully accelerates 5G commercial landing


OPPO Guangdong Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. today announced the official launch of the 5G Spark Program, openly recruiting the first batch of 5G Experience Officials nationwide, giving them the opportunity to experience the unprecedented speed of the 5G network through the OPPO Reno 5G mobile phone. The program aims to continuously improve and improve the 5G experience and accelerate the arrival of the 5G era through more realistic user feedback and opinions.

Tang Hai, head of the Standard Research Center of the OPPO Research Institute and chief 5G scientist, said: "For the upcoming 5G+ era, OPPO is fully prepared for standards development, product development, and application scenario exploration. On this basis, we announced The Reno 5G version of the mobile phone and launch the 5G Spark Program, hoping to accelerate the progress of the 5G mobile phone, and bring the real 5G experience to consumers as soon as possible."

In the 5G Spark Program, OPPO will unite Beijing Mobile, Shanghai Unicom and Shenzhen Telecom, and the Reno 5G version of the mobile phone will be the first to bring the 5G experience to the experience officers. At the same time, OPPO has set up 5G experience centers in the super flagship stores in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, so that more users can experience 5G in advance.

As early as 3GPP Release 15 freezes the NSA standard, OPPO has started the process of 5G mobile phone development. Prior to this, OPPO has announced the OPPO R15 and OPPO Find X 5G version prototype. Based on these terminals, several milestone breakthroughs in the 5G field have been achieved. After several rounds of 5G prototype iterations, the OPPO Reno 5G version was launched in Switzerland on May 1st, becoming the first 5G commercial phone to be launched in Europe. In the coming months, OPPO Reno 5G will be available in more markets around the world.
